ABOUT SAM
I grew up in Texas with a camera in my hand and learned early that land has its own personality and rhythm. That perspective has taken me around the world, collaborating with conservationists, scientists, sailors, adventure athletes, and brands like National Geographic. Those experiences shaped the way I work—calm, observant, and respectful, whether I’m far from home or on familiar ground.
I’ve photographed hundreds of thousands of acres across the U.S., working on properties that carry real weight for the people who own them—places tied to family history, hard work, privacy, and personal meaning.
I approach each project with care for both the land and the people connected to it. Whether you call it a ranch, a farm, a homestead, or simply your place, my goal is to create fine art that feels honest to the land and worthy of the people who care for it.
